Music Programs at the International Church of Music. The Board Members are all involved in the development of these youth music ministry programs.
Reverend Rick Izumi – Music Programs Director will be working closely with teachers and pastors during the development of the our youth ministry programs.
Rheuben Allen Musical Director & Administrator will be working with the local churches and teachers.
The International Church of Music partners and works with parents, guardians and there family members. Parents, guardians, family members, family friends and teachers are the primary influencers of young people. We want to get the whole family & friends involved in the lives of the young people.
Youth groups exists to establish meaningful relationships between mature adults, teachers and students for the purpose of helping the student grow in their relationship with their God and others. Students want to learn from people who care about them, want to teach them and can offer them the help they need to grow into successful adults.
Through our Music Programs at our Muncie location, with other churches and Nonprofits the International Church of Music concentrates on our Music Programs as the way to help young people develop into those successful adults. Music requires discipline, working and getting along with others both students and adults. It is also great for the development of the young person’s brain.
Through our Music Programs at our Muncie location, with other churches and Nonprofits the International Church of Music also helps provide musical instruments to young people at no cost to them, their parents or guardians. We can always use your help with providing lessons for a young person, helping thenm get reeds for their clarinet, saxophone or Oboe. or jus dnating money to go toward purchasing musical instruments for these young people.
Helping a young person play an instrunment can change their lives. I know it did mine!
We will keep you informed as to our progress and will be developing small groups to perform in local churches and anyone else that will have us around the Muncie and Indiana areas.
