I am very happy and proud to have been able to call Ernie Fields Jr. a great friend. He was gracious, kind and his stories always kept me smiling. He helped a lot off musicians and with his help Ernie and I were able to give over 500 instruments to deserving young people over the past 10 years. My heart is heavy and I will miss him. If you knew Ernie, you loved Ernie! We will all say goodby to a friend.
I named our Concert Studio the “Ernie Fields Concert Studio” in his honor. He loved helping young musicians and young people play musical instruments.
We are lucky if we have a friend like Ernie in our lifetime.
